Puppet Style/Skill Taught:
Lecture and demonstration of a wide variety of puppets and puppetry techniques. Hands on activities integrated as time allows.
Description:
Using ideas from Nancy Renfro's 13 books, 250 puppets/puppet kits and workshop materials, participants (librarians, educators and anyone interested in puppetry) will learn how to use simple techniques to entertain, educate and promote.
 
 
HAND TO MOUTH PUPPET THEATRE
For 25 years we have performed the art of puppetry at festivals, libraries, museums, clubs, schools, and in the middle of windy fields. We offer 5 shows and a demonstration about puppets from all over the world. A brochure is available upon request.

Description:
Art forms I have worked with include all forms of puppetry, book illustration, oil painting, t-shirt design, fabrication of costumes, windsock design, art in the streets, 2-D and 3-D design, mural work and graphic design. My husband, Cliff Scott, is a woodworker - experienced in carving, restoration, and the design and fabrication of fine furniture, cabinetry and musical instruments.
